Connect & Thrive: Networking & Speed Mentoring Event
Come as strangers and leave as sisters and allies who thrive together!
“Speed Mentoring was a unique opportunity as it is rare to have a networking event with people from such diverse industries and backgrounds. I gained valuable insights from every mentor.”
“It’s a space for wāhine to connect, share our stories, celebrate our wins, and navigate our challenges together. I felt deeply privileged to be in that room, to feel its energy, its passion, and the richness of its diversity. As a wahine Māori, this reaffirmed to me the profound importance of standing shoulder to shoulder with our Women of Colour and migrant sisters across Aotearoa. Our journeys may be different, but our aspirations, our struggles, and our hopes are deeply connected.”

“For me, this was simply a way to pay it forward for all the people, especially many wāhine who have supported me along my journey. My reward was seeing that I could share knowledge that others found valuable, I could relate with their experiences and share how I navigated those same challenges during my early years. It meant a lot to see sisters taking notes and then reconnecting with me during the networking session.”
